Ibiza, May 24th  2021 

Commissioned by the Restaurant “Mar y Tierra” located in the Port of Santa Eulalia, the mural portrays the figures of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo and New York based Artist Jean Michel Basquiat (also known as SAMO) facing each other in a welcoming sign of creativity and diversity toward the world. 

They are also the symbols of MAR (Sea) as in the water and as in the woman, and TIERRA (Ground) as in the man and the earth, just like the name of the cozy fancy Restaurant, facing the Marina and its many boats. 

The Artist is now staying on the island seeking new Art challenges and looking forward to create more beauty to become permanent parts of this glorious natural environments. His mission: Fill the white walls of the white island…with colors and positive messages!
